Bridge over the Gorodnichanka

In the past there were many bridges crossing the Gorodnichanka River, but today only a few remain.

At one time the houses on Rabochaya Street were even numbered according to their location along the river, although houses are usually numbered along the sides of the street.

We now move toward Kalozha Park, walking through quiet streets lined with private houses. Many of these buildings have not undergone major reconstruction and still preserve the appearance of the first third of the 20th century.

At that time this was a prestigious residential area where people who wished to live outside the busy and noisy city center bought land and built their homes.
